What’s new in 0.4.0

  • Both machines now exchange their input permissions right after connecting. If the other Mac is missing Accessibility or Input Monitoring, the Status page tells you before you link screens, with a button straight to System Settings.
  • A hand-off to a peer that cannot inject input is refused instead of silently moving your cursor to a screen that does nothing.
  • Report a bug from inside the app now works again.

Encrypted fast path, file transfer and Windows secure desktop

  • The UDP fast path is now encrypted with keys derived from the TLS session, so mouse and keyboard traffic is protected end to end.
  • Drag & drop and clipboard file transfer between machines, with progress and cancel.
  • On Windows, input is injected through a secure-desktop helper so the lock screen and UAC prompts can be controlled.
  • Identify-monitors flash, dimming of inactive screens, per-monitor jump shortcuts and named layout profiles.
  • Lock keys (Caps Lock, Num Lock) and power state (lock, sleep, shut down) are synced to the controlled machine.
  • Fullscreen and no-switch app guards, corner guard, panic key, unlimited reconnect and Secure Input detection.
